Users on Geneious R10 will not be affected by this. NCBI services should continue to function normally.
Users on Geneious R9 must update to the latest patch, 9.1.7 to ensure continued NCBI access.
Users on Geneious R8 must update to the latest patch, 8.1.9 to ensure continued NCBI access.
We are fully supporting the transition to HTTPS for Geneious versions 8, 9, and 10. Users on earlier versions of Geneious will have to upgrade to ensure continued access to NCBI BLAST and NCBI search services after September 30.
